Welcome to the Pearl District’s first children’s modern design center! Little Urbanites provides fashionable and durable children’s apparel, furniture, shoes, and accessories, along with educational toys, gifts and art products targeted for the parents of young children age 0-6.

We aim to meet the Northwest’s desire for environmentally friendly products and still surpass the needs of the most design aware and fashionable Portland families. Our pieces are hand picked and researched for quality, along with environmental and educational integrity.

Little Urbanites also offers custom apparel design opportunities for children. Finicky kids and their parents can select their own fabric, trim and patterns while serving as design consultants!

This concept of custom design carries over into the needs of a child’s room. Parents have the ability to meet one on one with our in-house interior designer who will help you craft a complete design plan for your child’s space and make sure the products we sell realize their full potential. We feel that every child should have a space that feels like a perfect fit. They need a place to create art, eat snacks and relax. Our goal is to create places for children that will inspire.

To top it off, the store features a children’s play area filled with hands-on activities and toys. Little Urbanites offers hassle free shopping for mom and dad and educational entertainment for child.

The three owners’ personal experiences and expertise are the inspiration for Little Urbanites; two mothers, three environmentalists, an interior designer, a clothing designer, and a fine art and early childhood education specialist. We hope you come in and enjoy the Little Urbanites’ experience and allow us to outfit your child’s environment.
